I'm trying to set up a ranger/necro/mesmer strike in the same district. We never get into groups anyway, so what does it matter?

It'd be fine if they were using reasonable arguments. However, 99% of them (I'm being generous with that 1%) aren't.

Then let me hear some of your arguments. So far I've heard one semi decent argument. That being that people don't like monks smiting. It's an alright argument, except in a large part people will look for the most useful aspect of a monk. That is, healing. As they are the only class that can effectively heal over a long period of time, damage is not their prime concern. I'm not saying that smiting monks are bad, I'm saying that they aren't and never will be considered a monk's primary point of use.

Another argument I've heard is that you don't get respect.

... from who? If you're complaining about the people that yell at monks after they "don't get healed" then you're complaining about the same people that everyone complains about. You're no different.

This should be a strike of all classes against the idiots of the game. Not a monk strike.

Rangers and mesmers have more reason to strike than you do. Necros too, but they've been getting accepted more often as of late.

All we want as monks is respect, and for dumb warriors to learn how to control aggro, listen when we say low energy, Need Regen!! Rezzing dont aggro the next group, dont frenzy ur dumbass to death and blame the monk when u die!

Once again. That is not a viable argument. You aren't protesting poor treatment that's specific to you. You're protesting poor treatment by those idiots that yell at everyone. You don't have any reasons to complain that any other class or person has.
